Debt Settlement Process – Burden Free's 5 Steps to Debt Settlement
Debt settlement is a structured process by which debts are negotiated to less than the total amount owed by working with your creditors. During the debt settlement process, a Settlement Advisor will negotiate debt for you by communicating with your creditors, once you saved sufficient funds. Debts can often be settled for 50% of the original debt. It's often the fastest, most efficient way for people who are in over their heads to address runaway debt. There are many questions you may have regarding our process. Contact our company at 877-811-2280, or visit our FAQ’s section for further assistance.

Burden Free’s Debt Settlement Advisors are trained on how to negotiate debt down to the maximum extent possible. Your Debt Settlement Advisor will be your primary point of contact; however a Customer Service Representative will also be assigned to your account in order to provide the best possible service. Your personal team will assist you with the difficult yet obtainable task of settling your debt. Receiving phone calls from collection agencies and the original creditors are common during the Debt settlement process. Creditors have the right to commence with legal action in order to collect on a debt.
4. Approve negotiations on your behalf – When sufficient funds have accumulated to begin negotiations your Debt Settlement Advisor will negotiate individually with your creditors to settle your Debt at reduced rates. When one of your creditors accepts a settlement offer, we will forward these written offers for your approval before any payment is issued.
5. Continue the process until you are Burden Free – You will continue making payments and we will continue negotiating on your behalf until your debts are resolved. We will provide you with complete documentation for any settled debts. Clients of debt settlement programs can potentially resolve their debt situation in less time with less money in comparison to typical debt management plans such as Consumer Credit Counseling.
* Individual results for each program may vary based on ability to save funds and creditors willingness to negotiate. Program does not assume any Debt or provide credit score assistance. Program not available in all states, so please review all terms and conditions of program prior to enrollment.
